EVERSE 12 is a larger and louder 12-inch two-way option for users looking for bigger sound along with the best-in-class battery performance and wireless-friendly features that made its 8-inch counterpart such a success.

With a maximum SPL of 126 dB, deep low-frequency response (45 Hz) and wide coverage (100 x 60 degree), it delivers truly impressive performance. Perfect for DJs, musicians, rentals and events, it's a portable powerhouse suitable for various scenarios, offering signature clarity with serious output capability. The custom Li-ion battery provides 12 plus hours at 100 dB or 6 plus hours at max output. Weatherized design, a high-output titanium-diaphragm compression driver, true wireless stereo and QuickSmart Mobile app control all add up to ensure EVERSE 12 excels indoors and outdoors.

Superior Sound Starts Behind The Grille

EVERSE 12’s woofer and compression driver are coupled to a patented SST (Signal Synchronized Transducers) ported waveguide, enhancing low-frequency extension and delivering even vertical and horizontal coverage across all frequencies, all while allowing a significantly smaller enclosure. The components are ‘Powered by Dynacord,’ utilizing a high-efficiency 400 W Class-D amplifier and DSP module developed in collaboration with EV’s sibling brand. Pro features include a four-channel digital mixer, studio-quality effects, mode presets, phantom power, feedback suppression and audio ducking, offering a self-contained setup from input to output.

Simple Setup and Flexible Connectivity

The EV QuickSmart Mobile app streamlines wireless control for EVERSE 12, allowing adjustment of audio, effects and mix functions via phone or tablet. Pairing up to six Bluetooth-equipped Electro-Voice speakers is possible, along with support for Bluetooth true wireless stereo streaming. Local configuration is swift with the single-knob encoder, and the intuitive interface simplifies shaping your sound. The integrated 12 V DC port powers wireless microphone systems, and a USB-C charging port is provided for mobile devices. Connectivity includes two XLR/TRS combo jacks, a 3.5 mm stereo jack and a TRS footswitch input.

Attach the accessory tray to the top of your EVERSE 12 to secure receiver hardware in place. A charging port is included for mobile devices if you need a top-up when streaming. Place on a tripod for a longer throw, set long-side-down as a stage monitor, or use upright with the kick-back angle to project up off the performance area. For stereo setups, EVERSE 12 is equipped for Bluetooth true wireless stereo streaming. Flexible features for a truly self-contained setup, input to output.

EVERSE 12 is driven by a high-efficiency Class-D amplifier and DSP module developed in collaboration with the world-class audio electronics engineering team at EV’s sibling brand Dynacord. Electro-Voice EVERSE 12 Loudspeaker Rain Cover with Special Handle Pockets and IP44 Rating

The Electro-Voice EVERSE 12 Loudspeaker Rain Cover is intended only for temporary use in wet or damp environments. The loudspeaker is not intended to be exposed continuously to moisture over long periods. Do not expose to salt water or spray, do not expose to chlorine, or use in high chlorine environments. The EVERSE 12 rain cover includes a bottom flap specifically intended for tripod positioning. Additionally, it features top and side handle pockets, facilitating convenient transportation of the speaker while protected by the cover. The incorporation of drain holes at the bottom allows for kickback orientation. Moreover, an amplifier input pocket is included, providing easy access to cables and ensuring seamless connectivity while the speaker is shielded from adverse weather conditions.
IP Rating
The EVERSE 12 loudspeaker with the rain cover installed is rated for IP44, but only in upright and kickback orientations, and only when used properly as defined in the included Quick user guide. When using the rain cover, the weatherized input cover is optional to achieve the IP44 rating.
Weatherization
When the rain cover is installed, the EVERSE 12 loudspeaker is designed to be weather-resistant to IP44 standards, but not waterproof.

The Electro-Voice EVERSE 12 Accessory Tray is a secure mounting tray made of polypropylene for wireless microphone receivers such as the Electro-Voice RE3 or R300, and other equipment such as tablets or smartphones. The hook and loop strap combined with integrated locating notches keep both microphone receivers and microphones secure. A 650mm DC power cable is included to power your RE3 or R300 receiver with the EVERSE 12’s battery. Available in black.
