BZBGear 4x4 UHD 4K 18Gb/s HDMI/HDBaseT Matrix Switch with IR/EDID/Downscaling (Black)
The BZBGear 4x4 UHD 4K 18Gb/s HDMI/HDBaseT Matrix Switch with IR/EDID/Downscaling enables operators to connect four HDMI sources to up to eight displays. This is accomplished using four HDMI outputs mirrored to four HDBaseT outputs that run simultaneously. The HDBaseT output allows video signals to be extended to longer ranges than a standard HDMI cable. When using 1080p resolution, the signal can travel up to 492-feet/150m and 394-feet/120m at 4K.
Connectivity and Quality
The maximum resolution of this matrix is 4K 60Hz (YUV 4:4:4) on all HDMI and HDBaseT ports. Data transmission is lossless and uncompressed, having a maximum bandwidth of 18Gbps, ensuring pure signal transfer for maximum image quality. The BG-UM44-150L-KIT utilizes HDMI 2.0b. The device is also HDCP 2.2 and HDCP 1 x compliant. Operators also can downscale video from 4K to 1080p if necessary for each output port. Power over cable is supported on all HDBaseT ports, eliminating the need for an external power supply at the HDBaseT receiver. The HDMI audio pass-through allows operators to handle high-quality sound up to 7.1 CH HD audio. Various audio codecs are also supported, including LPCM, Dolby TrueHD, and DTS-HD Master Audio. Audio can be de-embedded from the unit as well via analog and digital coax ports.
Control
The BG-UM44-150L-KIT can be controlled via buttons on the front panel, an IR remote, RS-232, LAN, and a web GUI. Advanced EDID management and CEC control are also available with this matrix. Bi-directional IR matrix routing is also supported, ensuring simple remote control of the currently selected video source as well as remote control of displays from the source location.
